According to the new bride, she and her beau had always envisioned having a three-day wedding celebration with all their loved ones.
Celebrate is exactly what the duo did, as an outlet reports that in addition to the main event (the wedding ceremony), the pair also had a welcome party at the C. Baldwin Hotel and an intimate BBQ at their home.
Standing in front of 200 guests, which included the legendary likes of Tina Knowles (iconic powerhouse performer Beyoncé’s mom), rapper Bun B., and TV personality, Toya Johnson, LeToya and Taleo pledged a lifelong commitment to each other.

Sharing some words about how the guest list came to be, LeToya divulged, “We started out with a guest count of 70 and that changed once we decided to wed in my hometown of Houston. We also knew with Taleo being the first grandchild of his family to get married, it would be tough to keep it at that number.”

Still wanting to keep the event as “intimate and cozy” as possible, LeToya explained that despite the extensive guest list, they managed to convey their intention through the eye-catching decor and layout.

She paired her wedding look with gorgeous dangling pearl earrings, a stunning diamond necklace, and beautiful diamond bracelets.
In keeping with one of the wedding themes—family and loved ones—LeToya’s bridesmaids and her mother, Pamela Luckett, helped her get ready for her big day in the bridal suite.

In the same way that Pamela shared a few words about her daughter getting married, LaToya Coles, Taleo’s sister did the same for her brother. “He’s always been so kind and giving. He’s the person we call when we need something […] I’m so very happy for him,” she shared.

To get ready for her wedding, LeToya used a variety of Mielle products to style her platinum blonde pixie cut. As she and her wedding party were prepping, “No, No, No” by Destiny’s Child made its way onto the television that was in the room, echoing through the space and inadvertently, honoring a nostalgic time in LeToya’s life.

Perfectly complementing LeToya’s lace-embroidered, semi-sheer, plunging neckline and high-slit wedding gown, her bridesmaids’ ensembles were a pretty beige color.
Each bridesmaid’s silk dress was different in design, while some were off-the-shoulder and strapless, others were thin-strapped.

Wanting her bridesmaids to feel extra special, LeToya gifted them with elegant jewelry made by David Yurman and matching pajama sets.

Similar to how LeToya had a special entrance for her walk down the aisle, Taleo’s groomsmen, who all looked dapper in their suits, set the stage for the groom when they made their way down the aisle before him.
Following their entrance, Taleo, who moved to Houston for his now-wife, walked down the aisle to Z-Ro’s “Mo City Don”—a Houston staple, which set the tone for a “very Houston wedding.”

While their wedding was Houston-embedded through and through, LeToya spoke about how the event could have been even more so.
“If it was up to me, I would’ve had a full southside wedding. I would’ve had swangas outside and everything. However, Taleo is the baby in his family and I wanted to make sure that he was able to enjoy the moment as well,” LeToya noted.
